What Lawn Renovation Is (And Isn’t)

Lawn renovation addresses compacted soil, heavy thatch buildup, moss dominance, bare areas, and
poor drainage. It is not a cosmetic quick fix and results develop over time.

1. Dethatching (When Required)

Removes built-up organic material that blocks water, oxygen, and nutrients from reaching the soil. Best
for neglected lawns and moss-heavy areas.

2. Core Aeration

Relieves compaction and opens the soil for deeper root growth. This step is critical for long-term
improvement.

3. Overseeding

Introduces new grass seed directly into the soil to thicken turf and outcompete moss and weeds. We
use cool-season blends suited to Terrace conditions.

4. Top Dressing (Full Renovations)

A thin layer of screened soil improves seed-to-soil contact, smooths low spots, and accelerates
establishment.
